One of the most popular shows on PBS is coming to town and, if you want to go, complete your ticket applications posthaste.

Update #1 — April 2, 2013; 9:40 AM

Ticket applications for the August 17th appearance of PBS’s highest-rated ongoing primetime series, Antiques Roadshow, at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, must be submitted by Monday, April 8th. A limited number of ticket recipients for the upcoming event will be selected at random from eligible entries. Tickets are free.

Approximately 6,000 ticket holders will receive free valuations of antiques and collectibles from specialists and independent dealers. Organizers ask that ticket holders bring no more than two items for appraisal.

Producers of the show will also film segments in and around Richmond to highlight local history and notable locales. Three episodes will be created to air during the show’s 18th season in 2014.

PBS’s Antiques Roadshow will come to the Greater Richmond Convention Center (GRCC) on Saturday, August 17th. Admission is free, but attendees must win tickets by registering online, or by calling 1.888.762.3749 by April 8th. Up to 3,000 pairs of tickets will be awarded in a random drawing.
