Venture Richmond has officially put out a call for HALP!

1,200 volunteers are needed to help out at the Richmond Folk Festival on October 9th through 11th.

From the press release…

“Most people probably do not understand that while there are staff members who help produce the Festival, the majority of the event is run by volunteers who give generously of their time every year. We need to know now who we will have working with us so that our planning can remain on track for a great event in about three months!”
Betsy Lecky, Volunteer Coordinator

Volunteers can sign up now for 4-hour shifts by visiting the online registration form. Jobs include backstage management, beer and wine sales, bike parking, site setup and tear down, music logging and more. AND you get a T-shirt for helping out!

Visit the Richmond Folk Festival website to learn more.
