Favorite Super Bowl commercial

Ok, game’s over. Let’s talk about the commercials…
Which were your favorites? Which were lame-o? Are we sick of Budweiser yet?

Keep your hands off my mama, and keep your hands off my Doritos. Hands down. The staredown at the end seals the deal.

I didn’t watch past the pre-game Jay Z song, but I’m
definitely sick of rappers using classical music.

I didn’t watch (aren’t I so edgy?!) but I saw the “Green Police” Audi commercial and it was super dumb.
They arrested a guy for not recycling a can by sending in a helicopter. Real effing green, guys. And then the commercial was about a diesel car rather than something electric or hydrogen.
Not that electricity is necessarily clean due to coal production but still. Dumb commercial.

I’m not into football. Frankly, I don’t understand what the point is. But I thought the commercials this year were hi-lar-ious. My fav was the Etrade baby. “Milk-a-whut??”

I liked the Doritos kid, too! But they really failed bigtime with coffin and the shock collar IMO.
I guess I’m still not over auto-tune, because I liked the T-Pain one (embarrassed to say).
I was also really annoyed at the green police Audi commercial. What a turn-off, even if you care about the environment.
Russel Crowe is Robin Hood?? FTW?
I’d like to know what people thought about The Who.

To those criticizing the Audi commercial, I don’t think you got it. It was a tongue-in-cheek slam on overzealous environmentalists. I thought it was brilliant. Marketing a performance car that is good for the environment to those who are turned off by radical environmentalism.

I thought the ads were LAME this year. My fav was the Google/paris in love ad. I like funny ads but none of them really made me laugh. And what was with all the dudes in tighty whiteys? NOT CREATIVE. Also just putting Megan Fox in a bathtub isn’t creative or provocative. We’ve all seen her hot-ass body a million times, so this wasn’t anything new. The Who was awful. My husband and I kept wondering why they couldn’t find a better act? Also did Pete Townsend ever get that kiddie porn thing resolved? He was “researching a book,” right?

the Who seemed to be a mix of pre-recorded and live
