I’m not sure we quite get our fill of photos around here. Words, sure, we got plenty of words. We can barely move around what with all the words in the way. But one photo of the day? That’s simply not enough.

Introducing the yet-to-be-named RVANews monthly photoblog featuring local photographers (that means you!)

Every month we’ll choose a theme, and snap-happy folks can submit any photos they may have taken lately that, to them, best represent that theme. We’ll choose eighteen of the most striking and publish as a gallery. The possibilities! The diversity! The viewing pleasure!

Details:

September’s theme is “Last Days of Summer.” Submit your photo to RVANews Flickr group by September 30, and we’ll put together a stunning gallery of what summer’s end means to eighteen different people.

Even if it is just a picture of a single tear. I’ll miss you, summer.

On her own time, Susan Howson may only ever go on and on about movies (see Susan Year Itch) or cake (see Marthable), but when on the clock at 11th Hour Creative, she'll write about whatever you like!
