Spring has blossomed in full effect, but before moving on to warmer temperatures and greener pastures, Capital! Style takes a moment to reflect on the final days of winter. Camel coats return, lightweight jackets, and sharp layers help these stylish residents of the River City bid farewell to the winter that never was.
The Annual Juried Fashion Show is unanimously celebrated as Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Fashion Design and Merchandising longest running and most anticipated event of the academic year. Wednesday evening, the Department hosted members of the local press and media inside a converted classroom of the Pollak Building’s fourth floor at their first annual Media Preview Night.
After a ridiculously warm winter, you can now finally start dressing for 60+ degree temperatures. Since you no longer have the fortune to hide underneath your down lined parka, it’s time to stock your wardrobes with clothes that you are proud to wear.
