PBS and Youtube are getting together and asking people to film their voting experiences.
I think it would be awesome if all you Richmond voters participated in this. If you do, be sure to let RVANews know by sending us a link to your video here. We will perhaps do something awesome with the videos.

Free camera? Damn, shoulda found out about this a while ago! (Already have a Flip, bit glitchy on long video but that coulda been my computer…)

I asked if I could video my own vote this morning and was told this was not allowed. Posted signs only mentioned that reporters can’t video other’s voting selections, but there’s nothing posted about someone filming their own vote. All I know is that it felt weird to punch stuff on the screen and just get a message saying “Your vote was recorded”. Would feel a lot more comfortable with a paper receipt.
