PRFL2k7: THE KLUMERBOWL!!

February 26, 2008 - 13:04

by Ross Catrow

Ok folks here it is, the moment you have been waiting for:

The Klumerbowl!

After grueling weeks of equally grueling competition the field has been narrowed to two. From the Klum Division we have Sam with Sam’s Ascots. From the Gunn Division we have RA with Asian Zing.

The drafting order has been determined by a coin flip:

  • RA
  • Sam

Each owner gets one pick. Choose wisely.

As for the Loser’s Bracket. I don’t think anyone put in their scores sooooo. Like the losers they are, so they remain.

Update: Could the Loser’s Bracket people please list out their scores below, in the comments? There seems to be some confusion in the spreadsheet. Or perhaps … some sabotage!??!

Is wagering allowed? Mamma needs a new pair of shoes from Saxons!

this is James’ manager speaking for him (here’s hoping he’ll share the glory of victory with me if he wins).

Kate, I think you accidentally put your scores in James’ spreadsheet. there were some scores there when I put his scores in; I had to erase them so I mentioned it to the commissioner.

    James score:
    Christian 4
    Chris 3

After much consultation, Asian Zing picks:

    Jillian!

    For the win!

    FTW!

i assumed i lost so i didn’t tally mine… plus playing in a “loser’s bracket” itself is a bit demoralizing.

Oops!! did i really put them in the wrong thing? I had looked to see if James had put his numbers in and I must have accidentally put mine there…Sorry!
    He killed me anyways!

So, the manager of Asian Zing (i.e., the husband) is wondering what happens if neither Sam nor I picks the winner with our one pick each.

    Nobody gets the prize?

He suggests that we each get two picks to cover the bases. Just sayin’.

It is the same scoring as per usual, right? That is what I was assuming.

  10. RA on February 27th, 2008 9:15 am

What? I thought we were picking The Winner, not keeping track of swearing and crying…

  11. Sam on February 27th, 2008 10:04 am

I’ll take Christian in the center square for the win. He’s fierce.

Even though the drafting order for the loser’s bracket isn’t up yet, James’ manager is going to go ahead and put his pick in for him since the show airs in a few hours and it’s bedtime for us:

    CHRISTIAN!

Got something to say?
